Kristin L. Steckbeck

Kristin has focused her practice on estate planning, guardianships, long-term care planning, and special needs planning, as well as probate, estate, and trust administration, since 2007.

Kristin received her undergraduate degree Magna Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame in 2004, and graduated Cum Laude from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2007.

Kristin is certified as a specialist by the Indiana State Bar Association’s Trust & Estate Specialty Board (TESB) since 2017, and she also serves as a current member of the TESB Board of Directors. Kristin is also a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA) as recognized by the National Elder Law Foundation, and an active member of the Special Needs Alliance, a nationwide, invitation-only network of experienced special needs planners.

Kristin served as the President of the Board of Directors of the Allen County Bar Association from 2017-2018, and remains an active member of the Allen County Bar Association. She is also a member of the Wells County Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association, NAELA (National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys), and the Bluffton, Indiana Rotary Club.

Kristin is also a current member of the Board of Directors of Indiana Legal Services (a statewide nonprofit organization offering free legal services to those in need), and serves as an active volunteer for the Volunteer Lawyer Program of Northeast Indiana. She also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Plymouth Congregational Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana and as a volunteer wildlife rehabber for Soarin’ Hawk Raptor Rescue in Huntertown, Indiana.
